1. About these terms

These Terms describe your use of 10ktasks desktop software and related services (including body-doubling focus sessions). By using the app or purchasing a paid plan, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use and request a refund within our guaranteed period.

2. Your license

Subject to these terms and applicable software license regulations, you receive a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install and run 10ktasks for your personal or internal business work. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or sublicense the software without written consent.

3. Ownership

You retain complete ownership of the tasks, notes and other content you create inside 10ktasks. 404 Studio and its licensors retain all rights, title, and intellectual property in the application software, UI designs, and brand trademarks.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use 10ktasks only for lawful purposes. You agree not to upload harmful code, disrupt online shared focus rooms, or attempt to bypass license validation mechanisms.

5. Plans, pricing and payment

10ktasks offers a Free plan, a $29 one-time Pro Lifetime plan, and a $14.99 quarterly subscription plan. All prices are listed in USD.

Merchant of Record: Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments, acting as the authorized Merchant of Record. Dodo handles tax collection, invoicing, payment disputes, and chargebacks on behalf of 10ktasks.

6. Immediate digital delivery

Upon successful payment completion, software binaries and activation license keys are delivered electronically and immediately to the email address provided at checkout. Because this is digital software, delivery is completed as soon as the license key is issued.

7. Cancellation and refunds

We maintain a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund policy on all first-time purchases. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of purchase, email support@10ktasks.com with your order reference to receive a prompt full refund.

For Pro Quarterly subscriptions, you can cancel recurring renewals at any time. Cancellation stops future charges while preserving access through the remainder of the paid billing period.

8. Suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate software access or shared session privileges in the event of fraudulent payment, software piracy, or material violation of these terms.

9. Liability and your consumer rights

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 10ktasks is provided “as is”. We do not exclude or limit any non-excludable statutory consumer rights granted by your local jurisdiction.
